I'm sure it has nothing to do with thier war coverage.... I thought the NYT is above economic considerations.

Speaking of ads, we've talked with several western Canadians today who have donated $$ to a campaign that is purchasing Pro-American advertising in USA Today.
These folks are mortified at the behavior of the govt. in Ottawa. The person organizing the campaign was also said to be very pleased at the amount of support they are receiving from Ontario.
