I'm not sure whether Wallace is the lower-level commander in the field who complained about disruptions in the supplies to the troops...or the lower-lever commander who told the press that we underestimated the strength of the resistance. The press is clearly causing mischief...asking leading questions to those in the field (and in hospitals..and families of POWs). Clymers.
Maj.Gen. Brooks stressed the "lower level commanders", heh: what I do know ..again...our commanders talk to each other..there will always be things that occur on the battlefield (unplanned....strength is in flexibility)..at the operational level ...things going as planned."
Think these "lower-level" commanders will soon be relocated?

I think he is the latter--said that "we didn't war game for this". yeah, I imagine he's re-thinking his words at this point.
Did anybody hear if Rummy actually said something at the informal presser he and Myers did yesterday about the possibility of a Baghdad seige being looked at? I heard a quick statement on TV today that he said that.
However, I was surprised there were no questions about it at CentCom, so don't know if it'a true.
