Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running on the weekend, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

I've believed all along that those propaganda pictures were created by the Iraqis. I've no doubt they'd injure and bomb their own people.

That's Sky News I gave you, the Bagcam should be on the streaming thread. Type streaming in search here and it will pop up.

So it could barely takeoff from a standard commercial runway? (I'm sorry for all the questions)

Depends on the runway.
C-5 will not be the workhorse, too many problems with them. The other cargo planes will do the work.

Stroganoff. Isn't that the one with sour cream? Sounds like he's lactose intolerant. Buy him some LACTAID tablets.

It's so difficult to fathom anybody being that evil, the total disregard for the well-being of his own people. How on earth, with all the proof (so much of it visible), could anyone not see that this regime needs to be removed.

Thank You ;^)

spectr17 is right about the C-5 needing a reinforced runway. I don't know the specifics, or if a standard runway is considered "reinforced" enough.

:) I miss my 95. I now have 98 and I refuse to get a new computer. Over the past few days you've probably seen the bagcams on the news with the smoke way in the background. It almost looked like clouds or even very distant mountains. It's now much much closer so it has to be the oil trenches as was told on an earlier post.

This 95 is at work have XP Pro at home. Yes Sky News showed the freeway shot and the entire background showed black smoke, much more than before.

From that pic it reminds me of my favorite plane :), the A-10. Will it be used in the North then?
