Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running on the weekend, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

You, know, that could have been a little prank from our side. I have seriously considered going to all the houses with "No war" signs late at night, and placing "Saddam's best Friend" signs right next to them. My lastest Idea is to place Iraqi Flags next to their signs.

You wear them because you want to limit your exposure when deploying them and when they come back at you.Right, having them on is no treat, you wear them only when it is absolutely necessary, when you are handling it or an attack is imminent.
To: Warren_Piece
I thought about that but when I was coming back the owner of the house was outside on the lawn and didn't turn the sign around.

Remember the protests/riots in pakistan after we started in afghanistan? I wouldn't worry about it anymore than those. Jordan's King is pretty safe; if it becomes too much, he knows how to handle it.

My kids want to sneak in under cover of darkness and take it out! Just make sure there's plausible deniability.

Because the Iraqis have threatened to use them and have used them in the past. We have not.

Friday's are a big day for protests there. They attend prayer day at the mosque to learn about peace, and then they come out to riot.
To: Dog
Apparently very recently because it's a fresh item that the talking heads spent about 15 seconds on.

but one of the reasons the turk deal failed was because they wanted us to hand them the Kurds on a silver platter Correction, the major reason the deal frll through was that the Franco-Prussian Axis threatened the Turks with exclusion from the EU for "a generation" if they supported US Actions.

Older Motorolas were 'Sherman Tank' models. I had one from 1995-2000. Dropped it, kicked it, nothing stopped it except the advent of digital...
They were large, too.

When the Russians flew the downed P-3's fuselage into Dobbins you could see the chartered Russian Antonov-124 and a C-5 together in person. I thought the biggest difference was the empennage.
The 225 is a all together different bird though.

Saddam has a lot of agents based in Jordan, I suspect it is his agents that are posing as the supposed anti-Saddam exiles who want to return to Iraq to fight the coalition.

That even makes more sense. Remember the AQ in Pakistan (posing as religious leaders, Taliban) whipping the locals into a frenzy?
