Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running on the weekend, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

God, Help Us! 1200 lawyers w/billable hours.
They are probably JAG officers so no need to worry about billable hours.

I honestly could hardly listen to the report. They were supposed to have the report from actual Marines on the torture chamber, but the tape wasn't available so the MSNBC reporter talked about it.
It's good that this stuff is starting to come out. It's real hard to hear. Somebody ought to stuff this report down the throats of some peaceniks.

I just heard that bastard from NBC, Jim Mickloshefski, on the Imus show saying " If we dont take Baghdad this weekend, come this monday morning it will be very very bad for our US Troops.". Why doesn't that idiot go put on a uniform before he opens his FAT MOUTH

NBC, Jim Mickloshefski: No, it may be bad for the market but war is war. Somebody needs to ship him to Iraq and let him see what they consider a 'good day'.

I know we will prevail! I just hate the insinuation of the "free" press. Did you predict that the 507th would be ambushed? Why didn't you have a better contingency plan?
The press seems to jump on anything negative and ignore anything positive. That tells me that they have an agenda and it is not pro-American. I'm glad that General Brooks is briefing them. He is no nonsense and makes them look even more ridiculous.

Update from NYC: The three men detained on the Williamsburg Bridge were apparently drunk and had beer in thier knapsacks. Just a prank. Move along. This is why you should never give beer to Arabs

I'm really sorry about that... I just learned how to post pics & got alittle carried away, I guess, I never even thought about the phone line guys,,, I remember what that was like now...'sok, I'm not mad at you! Just asking for some awareness. I've seen that FAE video before, strangely, I've never seen an "after" of the building...

Jim Mickloshefski probably watched the first round of the College Basketball playoffs and complained because they didn't play the championship game that night. He reminds me of the Kindergartener who goes for the first day and has a great time and raves to his parents about how much he liked it. The next day his parents wake him up to go to school and he says "What do you mean? I went yesterday.".
Idiot.

NBC, Jim Mickloshefski: They set up their own premise then shoot it down when it doesn't happen.
Be over in 5 days BS came from the meida, when it didn't happen all screamed "quagmire".

MSNBC reporting about torture chamber found in that "hospital" that was actually a military HQ with the torn up female US uniform found as well as chem suits, ammo. They said a bed and car battery with cables were found there too. Sick. But sickening still is that this is just a tip of the iceberg in the regime's brutality.
