When asked why (as he had just asserted) his constituency fully supported his views about Iraq, he said something to the effect that "maybe they understand what it's like to be oppressed..." ???? Actually, I thought he said they understand what it's like to be "misunderstood". I kept screaming at the TV at Sean - to ask him whether he thought Saddam was just "misunderstood".
But, I'm glad Sean pointed out Rangel's duplicity, since he never made such a comment about lack of experience about Clinton. Although, the liar said he DID criticize Clinton which is a load of bull.
I've finally calmed down enough to actually write a clear letter to Rangel. Not like it will help or anything but I am sooo furious, don't know how Sean kept his cool. Rangel owes every service man an apology. And wasn't he drafted? He didn't VOLUNTARILY serve in the military!!! So he deserves no moral high ground.
