President Bush met with British Prime Minster Tony Blair at Camp David today as they discussed the current war in Iraq as well as the future of the country once the people are liberated from Saddam's grasp. Blair expressed condolences to the country for the soldiers who have lost their lives, and reassured everyone that the coalition’s resolve is firm. Bush was asked how long the war would last and replied, 'However long it takes to win.' The President returned to Washington later in the day. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I think the most comforting and strongest aspect of their connection is just how deeply they both believe in this cause and how that belief is absolutely rooted in a truth stemming from a mutual morality.

Exactly! And it is their deep conviction that has allowed them to do the right thing in spite of strong opposition, and even sagging poll numbers.

It is still SO refreshing.....even after 2 years, to have a President who HAS convictions.......and honor, and morality, and decency, and dignity, and......... well, you get the idea! :o)

Yes, they are our guys too. I feel the same sorrow when one of theirs is lost. I'm so proud of all of them. I've never prayed so hard for so many faces I've never met....

I love this thread! And all the comments!

The President and Prime Minister both look well-rested and resolved. Those U.N. greedy lackeys don't have a chance!

Aren't our courageous, wonderful soldiers the best people in this world? Pray for each of them daily -- that is our part, in return for their fierce protection of our lives and liberties.

I saw recently (I think) that Prime Minister Blair was converting to Catholicism....or maybe I'm mistaken....I know he's converting to whatever his wife is.

Does anyone know if Blair is a born-again christian?

Don't know, but I'm sure that our President is bombarding him with 'friendship evangelism' if he isn't!

We should all pray for him!
