According to several well placed sources in the media, the 196 cruise missiles were shot down by the same Iraqi farmer who took out the Apache Longbow with his old hunting rifle. He is currently positioned on the roof of a hotel in Baghdad, sniping away at incoming Tomahawks.
The farmer is also credited for disabling three M1A1 Abrahms tanks and two Bradly IFVs, as well as capturing several U.S. Army mechanics who became lost in southern Iraq, and has been awarded the Iraqi Ministry of Information "Excellence in Impossibility" medal.
They are knocking down our cruise missiles with buildings.
