apes go to the preference setting on windows media player and set it to be the default media player I'm tired so I hope I'm telling you right:)

Open Windows Media Player. Tools/Options/Formats
Select All/OK
To: ApesForEvolution
There's a shortcut for that:
- Hold your cursor over the file you want to open
- right click
- choose "open with" option
- choose "choose program" option
- select window media player
- check little box that says "always open with this program..."
*Note will not work for real media type links or files
