Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Tsk, tsk....shame on MSNBC. Even during the darkest days ....WWII reporters would never, never say that we were going to lose the battle...
or the war! They knew better, then. Anyone can find something to criticize. That's easy. It's difficult remaining positive and courageous in the midst of a war.
Pessimism never won any battles.--Dwight Eisenhower
It hurts the morale of the troops. Press...knock it off! (rant over)

That's what I mean! I think the results would be incredibly devastating to those who oppose us.
Then what would France do?????

FYI, France , via PNN-Paribas bank in Pairs, is the currentr custodian of the $40 billion of Iraqi money earmarked for the oil for food program... Anyone want to bet that France will not recognize the new government in Iraq in a few months and confiscate that money ?

Please note MissMarple has sourced the "quick and easy" to none other than Bill Clinton, speech in London, 3/8(?)/03 in support of Tony Blair.
CLINTON sandbagged Bush!!!

I've you've ever tasted an MRE..one a day is too much. You couldn't convince my 15 year old son of that. Every birthday and at Christmas a case of MRE's is on his list. He usually leaves the house on Friday afternoons, camps off in the woods somewhere, and returns on Sunday. He literally survives on MRE's, a chance squirrel, and a few bass each weekend. Totally awesome kid!

Bush favorable 66% Rumsfeld favorable 71% Well deserved and earned. We are so fortunate to have honest and honorable leaders, who have the well being of the USA as the objective. It motivates me, and I'm sure it motivates our military, from the top to the bottom (with some exceptions, to be sure).
To: null and void
That's OK. The most difficult thing about the internet is that sentences have no tone. They read flat and people don't know each other's personality, which makes it difficult for everyone.

Anyone want to bet that France will not recognize the new government in Iraq in a few months and confiscate that money?and deprive the starving chirren of aid?
Months? No, days...
To: Quilla
(and save $900 million to boot).Senate Democrats looking for ways to save money--this will help.
Naturally, they will show us the savings in the TAX CUT, right??

Two soldiers riding a camel. Hhhmmm...they are laughing hysterically and the camel has it's tail up...I think we can put the rest of the story together ourselves.
