I agree, I think the Chixie Dicks' U.S. tour will be interesting in terms of attendance. They are performing in their hometown of Austin in May. I can't wait to hear how Fatalie Gaines addresses the Bush-loving audience, considering he lived right there in Austin for six years as governor. This Texas girl is tempted to mosey on down there and join the 'welcome wagon' that's sure to be assembled outside the Frank Erwin Center. It would almost be worth getting a large group together to buy tickets, so that we could all get up and leave at the same time during the concert. If only they wouldn't profit from the ticket sales!

Their tour was pretty much sold out before they started making their comments, I think. So there will be lots and lots of people mad at them who already have tickets to their concerts. Will they not show up or will they boo?

I agree, it will be interesting.

Michelle Branch is the opening act for the Chicks here in Nashville in August. I would like to see Michelle Branch and thought of leaving after she played. But, I know most of the money will go to the Chicks.

That got me thinking, what will this do to the other opening acts? Imagine thinking you have hit a gold mine being the opening act for them and then Natalie potentially screws up your chance to get your music out there.
