OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea that there was slavery before the United States invented it in 1776. Surely now, the race-hucksters will be shamed into shutting up about American racism lol.

Great, now France is going to want reparations.

The girl was bought by Vegetus, an assistant slave owned by Montanus, who in turn was owned by the emperor. Considering we pay half our incomes to the empire our slave situation hasn't much improved. French maid or sports car, what to buy.

The Celts at the time of this girl's life were not French yet, nor Franks.

"It is unusual to find one with such clear engraving into the wood. The writer must have been very heavy-handed." That's because of the notice at the bottom that said "Press hard, you are making 4 copies."

Didn't you know. All Romans were black. As well as all Greeks, Egyptians, Shakespeare, Newton, Beethoven...the claim they were "white" is a cover-up by The Man.

The coolest tribe were the Vandals. They were the ones who went around soaping windows and blowing up mailboxes.

Their descendants are flying around, and roosting on, the Dade County Court House even as I write.

"I love a slave being named "Lucky." Sounds like Vegetus got lucky.

"The coolest tribe were the Vandals. They were the ones who went around soaping windows and blowing up mailboxes." They were big on spray paint, too.

"The first evidence of Roman Britain's slave trade has been unearthed: a receipt for a young French girl bought for the equivalent price of a small sports car today."
There's giid news!
Things have actually gotten cheaper since then. These days you can buy a young French girl for the price of a good dinner.
