Seems to me that there was a command failure here.

Not because of PCness--just plain stupidity.

Every war has a few guys start going wig just before it happens. We had a few of these in the USMC just before Desert Storm (none involving Muslims of any flavor).

The policy back then was to simply transfer the offending individual to a Stateside desk job. The fact of the transfer happening right before the war, combined with a "velvet stiletto" fitness report, would guarantee that the individual in question would have no career after the war was over.

The 101st didn't do that. They left the guy in theater.

That was downright stupid.

As of June 2002, nine of the armed forces' fourteen Muslim chaplains received their religious training from another Saudi-supported entity, the Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences (GSISS) in Leesburg, Virginia. In March of that year, the multi-agency Operation Greenquest raided the offices of GSISS, along with twenty-three other Muslim organizations. Agents also raided the homes of Dr. Iqbal Unus, the Dean of Students at GSISS, and Dr. Taha Al-Alwani, the school's President. According to search warrants issued at the time, these groups were raided for "potential money laundering and tax evasion activities and their ties to terrorist groups such as...al Qaeda as well as individual terrorists...(including) Osama bin Laden."

It isn't as much potential Muslim terrorists in our midst, as it is the most racist group on earth. Most of the crime and terror they produce on a daily basis is aimed at each other. A phony religion like the Black Muslims is just one catalyst to turn their hatred into terrorism. Many of them are really just one spark away from murder and mayhem at any given time. As the U.S. geared up for military action in Afghanistan, Army Chaplain Capt. Abd Al-Rasheed Muhammad began questioning the permissibility of a fight against fellow Muslims.

We've already seen this in the FBI, when at least one agent has refused to record another Muslim when ordered to do so. This could be a serious problem, perhaps less isolated than we'd like to hope.
