My wife watched it, I didn't. The entertainment business has become much to self congratulatory, award ceremonies abound on TV. This serves to dilute viewership the Academy Awards once enjoyed, when they were the only show of that type. In fact, I can remember back to a time when the Academy Awards were one of the most watched shows on TV, right up there with the Rose Bowl, and Super Bowl.

Hollywierd is the only industry where the members LITERALLY hold an awards ceremony of some kind EVERY WEEK. In fact, I don't know how any of them find the time to fit in "working" with all the awards shows they have to attend.
