Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

I'd strap her to the hull to ward off sapper attacks.

Per MSNBC .. Aziz is saying the POW's that were killed .. were killed at the site of battle and they just brought in the room because they did not have a place to put them
What bull! Guess he must be a little fearful that time is going to be up soon and he may be charged as a war criminal!

Are you deliberately missing my point?
ALL my comments were clearly directed about and to those people who get all excited every single time Rush disagrees with anything Bush does and come on here and start telling us Bush better shape up or he's going to lose his base.
Most of us don't hang on Rush's every word, but there are people on here who do.

Tariq is an enemy. MSNBC knows where he is? Aren't there rules about not aiding the enemy?

I think that would be a violation of the Geneva convention. A WMD for sure.

I'd send her in in the bomb bay of a B-2; she could be the first reporter to give live at-the-point-of-impact reports :-D

I wish the WH press corps...including Helen...had been imbeded w/our troops. Oh Lord! I couldn't imagine that old beast in with our troops! LOL!
"Slow down!" "Are we there yet?" "Pull over I have to use the toilet!" "Where's my rhinestone barrett?!" "Where's all this dirt coming from?!"
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
But what if MSNBC doesn't know, and is picking up the broadcast from someone else?
To: Lauratealeaf
Um... looked to me like close range head shots on people who wear helmets in battle. Would he care to elaborate on how that's possible? I seriously doubt their sniper capability is that good.

My son is a sapper. Will ask him about the best way to sapper her butt.

I saw Arnett last night during the bombing and he was talking into the camera (from inside his hotel room). He turned to another man and introduced him as ----(didn't catch the name) as "my Iraqi friend."
I thought it odd at the time and today, I read that one of the difficulties journalists in Iraq were experiencing was that they had minders (Iraqis) who followed them about, confiscated cell phones during bombing raids, etc.
