[history]
A senior pentagon official has confirmed to Fox News on Sunday that coalition forces have discovered a "huge" chemical weapons factory near the Iraqi city of An Najaf, which is situated some 225 miles south of Baghdad.
Coalition troops are also said to be holding the general in charge of the facility.

ABC news update on the radio just broke into a local talk show to report the chemical find, and the story is also now on their home page.

This is mostly a re-broacast of 2002, BUT the intro said..."..and now, a link between Iraq and Al-Qaeda.", Implying new info, at the end of the show...I'm watching, I'll let you know.

The peacenicks have already decided that any WMD we find is fake several days ago. Correct. The idiots will never believe anything we find. They will claim it is fake or planted by US Forces.

Wrong brand... it's SimiraqTM baby milk powder.

CNN had nothing, as if they didn't even know about it (or were ignoring it.) When I've viewed it for a couple of minutes each hour, CNN seems to be most interested in broadcasting:
"Peace" marches in this country;
Anti-American marches around the globe;
Stories about the Coalition that are negative.
Iraq doesn't need its Propaganda Ministry as long as CNN is on the air.
No wonder Fox is cleaning their clock.

Let's recap:
1. It's a "huge" facilty (not a few vials)
2. Camoflaged so it couldn't be seen from the air.
3. Barbed wire.
4. 100 acres.
5. Guarded by Iraqi army.

It is my impression from watching Paula Zahn that she is a mean-spirited, disgruntled person. Maybe somewhat annoyed that after she left FOX they became the number one network. Nonetheless, she is seldom happy on air and is always looking to stab someone in the back from the long list of negative stories. Reminds me of Wolf Blitzer and Judy Woodruff, so I guess in that sense I shouldn't be surprised.

Yep. The French have got to be in a serious panic now.

I do EXACTLY the same thing. I've emailed the Pres of WorldCom twice to let him know he's wasting his advertising dollars. Think it might be better to email stations to let them know we're switching each time Glover comes on.

This should be one of the BIGGEST stories of the war???? Where's CNN????
To: Paul Atreides
Nothing yet on CNN, website or otherwise. Let's get the eggs out for Martin Sheen's face.

To: Semi Civil Servant
Well this general surrendered, did not use these weapons, and is cooperating.
I hope the good gen is treated well.
Maybe, he can tell us about other sites as well.

msnbc is still saying that it is not confirmed that the facility has been confirmed as a chemical weapons plant. I guess we will soon know one way or the other. Maybe it was just a subsidiary of Dupont (a French name I might add) or something.

Also Saturday, the U.S. military abandoned plans to open a northern front against Iraq that would have sent heavy armored forces streaming across the Turkish border.How many coalition troops will die because of Turkish reticence?
But I'm sure it's a fabrication.....
Well, of course it is. It says right there on all the equipment: "Fabrique au France."

Guess MSNBC doesn't have the same "inside" sources in the Pentagon as Fox does. I think they like Brent Baier. He seems to get a lot of firsts.
To: The PeteMan
LOL. When my husband and I travel we ask if hotel has Fox, before we check in. I have withdrawal symptoms when I can't get Fox news.
