I'm not surprised. I read the name yesterday early on at FR in the earliest report from cbs or at sky news.

Today is the first time that a name has been officially released.......there were reports early on that there was Mohammed somewhere in his name, but that was from mostly 2nd and 3rd hand info.

Here's my post as I recalled the name beginning with "a".

I've been on FR way too long tonight but I swear I read the name abdul somewhere. He's not a mohammed. I don't capitalize murderer's names.

I'll go see if I can find the thread the name was on. I may have remembered it wrong but abdul is close to akbar imo.
