The picture is degrading to a U.S. soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice. Why can't you see that?

We know, we see. But if not now, they'll use this propaganda later. They had it ready to go, it is likely a leftover picture from something else.

The picture is degrading to a U.S. soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice. Why can't you see that? Who said I can't see that? Do you always go about making presumptions about what other people think?
Also, to the other poster ("ican'tbelieveit"): How do we know the families haven't been notified?

The picture is degrading to a U.S. soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice. Why can't you see that? I think that's purely a subjective call. What *IS* degrading and disgraceful, however, is how we as a nation allow our government to reneg on it's committments to our troops *after* the fighting is over.

Isn't it degrading for us to show POW's from Iraq?
My local Colorado Springs Paper, The Gazzette showed us a front page photo of two dead Iraq defenders. A white rag tied to a stick was included in the bunker/trench photo.
The power of the press is immediate and unforgiving.
