truly we would be better off not knowing this. the practice of embedding in a situation like this is not useful. it is a weapon of mass disillusionment.

I disagree. Having embedded reporters in a situation like this, helps to get the truth out. Networks can try to be PC all they want, but when the embedded reporter tells it like it is, and the network still tries to be PC, the network is thusly exposed.

Certain other troops heard about this event via the news because when another reporter is asked about it, and didn't know anything about it, it was explained to them. In this manor, the warning to keep a careful eye on other potential problems 'within' can take a faster course. jmo

Hint, hint ... I used to live in Chicago, where the NOI has had its main group since the late 1930's. I've known the garbage that the NOI spews, since BEFORE Screwy Louis took over. Very nice here too...been nice for about 10 days now. Low 60s in the day....40 at night.

I finally cut back my work week to only 5 days a week. I'll only be in my office Wednesday thru Saturday and I'll use Mondays and Tuesdays for other projects and my family. I had pull a little money out of the kitty to pay for that luxury but after pulling 6 days a week for 4 straight years and with 2 in diapers who are gonna grow up too damn fast...I thought it wise. It's nice knowing I've sort of got more than one day off after today....more than just the usual Sunday. That also leaves 3 full days a week to go places besides sitting in an office on the phone, taking rent and dealing with 1000 renters...that'll burn you out. I never knew I would know so much personal stuff about so many folks and all their excuses as to why they are late.

How many more out there is exactly right. They should be cleaning house now.
