Yeah, the "Flame" burns in our hearts--how long have you lived in that beautiful province?

They once asked Mike Harris if he ever smoked dope. He said no, drank a lot of beer though..

I didn't know that. I figured with the Toronto/Massasauga(sp)/Hamilton area, and also Winsdor and Ottawa, it would be impossible for conservatives to win, especially in a parlimentary system.
Are provincial elections parlimentary as well similar to the federal system?

"The war on terrorism and weapons of mass destruction is not a war the U.S. sought. In accepting this sombre challenge, however, the United States has shown clarity in setting its goals and patience and resolve in achieving them," he wrote. Mr. Klein's letter comes days after he criticized Mr. Chrétien for refusing to join the U.S.-led attack, a decision he said is a snub to the United States. Excellent comments by the Premier of Alberta. I guess, he is the only decent politician in Canada.

I lived in Calgary for a couple of years for work.

I guess, he is the only decent politician in Canada. Pretty close to it. At least among the ones you hear about down here in the States.
To: Victoria Delsoul
No he isn't. The official leader of the opposition in in the national parliament Stephen Harper of the Canadian Alliance Party (also from Alberta) is backing the US too.

My apologies
. The only two decent politicians in Canada.
To: KansasCanadian
I can't believe how fast Calgary is growing and Edmonton too That's because Alberta is damned near the only place worth living in Canada.
Once the place attracts enough folks from back east, it will be no different than anywhere else. Here's hoping it takes a very long time for that to happen.
To: Victoria Delsoul
Wait a few minutes . . . I'm sure a third one will pop up soon. LOL.
To: Alberta's Child
LOL!!! That's OK, I'm ready.
To: Alberta's Child
The Ontario premiere Ernie Eves is also backing the US.

He turned up at a homeless shelter and told the freeloaders them to get up off their asses and get a job. They were right pissed off at Ralph about that.

"Herb Dahliwal", huh? Doesn't really sound like a home-grown Canadian, does he? Perhaps a little Muslim influence in some of the upper echelons of Canadian "governance" already?
To: Victoria Delsoul
Check out post #36 in this thread. LOL!!
To: Alberta's Child
