I read on another thread that, shortly after this grenade attack, the camp was hit by a missile. I strongly suspect the two events are connected, and part of a wider conspiracy.

Yeah. According to one of FOX's embedded reporters a scud warning siren was going off at the same time this pinhead chunked the grenades under the tents. This was the cause of a lot of the confusion as to what was going on. They were reacting to two things at once.
