It is crazy how information is being held back on this. On WABC from New York on John Batcholor and the other guy-- it was reported that in Cairo today a Muslim bigwig issued a fatwah against the American troops. This was believed to have sparked this Al Queda attack by a sleeper sargeant in the 101st Airborne. Amazing how this is being reported some places and the others are tripping over each other.

Stop quizzing each other about SKY News. What they have reported is not controversial. CNN is reporting all of the stuff SKY has reported. They are not reporting about the Al Queda connection. That he had several helpers. That there is the connection to the fatwah in Cairo. it is BS to suggest "fragging" or "hot fuse" -- which is what they are speculating about on the news because they are not yet able to report the story --ie what they already know and are being held back on. The embedded reporter from CNN clearly said he knew a lot more than he could say == that a regular reporter would report more but he couldnt --given the rules of being embedded. This definitley indicates that what he would otherwise report is credible an dnot mere speculation-- and most likely the details reported on John & Alexander on WABC radio New York about 930pm EST.

Yes, a fatwa was issued by Al-Azhar in Cairo. I heard this mentioned by a guy interviewed on NPR today, before we heard about the attack in Kuwait.

I predict this guy who wounded 16 won't even get as much criticism and scrutiny as Jerry Falwell or Franklin Graham got for mere words of dissent.
Speaking of dissent, I just love how "American" the lefty protesters are being portrayed when pro-lifers have been called domestic terrorists, racketeers and extremists for their protesting.
Just grumbling about all this hypocrisy.
