Go here Comment on War Against Islam. and read post number 25. Many here, including myself, have tried to tell people that this is a war against Islam. It IS a war against Islam. Anyone who practices that religion is going to have to be deported from the U.S. If deportations to not take place, we will face violence for years to come. Absolutely no doubt about it.

Talk about a complete non-starter. Widespread advocacy of this would turn America against conservatives for a generation. And dare I ask where we would send them, given that roughly half are converts or children of converts?

The only liberal value I find to be common in FR is to the idea that we need complete safety. In fact, there is a trade-off bewtween decency and legality on the one hand and safety on the other, and thank God the first hand is the one President Bush plays.
