The Rally was wonderful. It was truly inspiring to have a great turnout. I am so pleased that Maha Alattar, from Women for a Free Iraq, was with us. I wish the Anti-War/Anti-Bush crowd would listen to her story.

Alexandra Phillips the 11 year old who sung…wow
Congressman Billybob was fantastic
Jim Snyder as always a true Statesman
Conway Brooks Go 82nd Airborne
Pastor Ron Aldridge gave us an inspirational message
Senator Patrick Ballentine next Governor from North Carolina?
Jerry Agar the ever present voice of reason on WPTF
Susan Mills President of the NC Federation of Republican Women and a fine speaker
Mark and Nikola Pergerson we couldn’t have found better Patriotic Singers

I can't thank mykdsmom, Diane (I can't remember her freeper name) and ConstitutionDay enough for all their hard work.

I saw some news coverage...not as much as I would have thought and News 14 is carrying the Chapel Hill Rally but not ours...maybe they will pick it up yet. WTVD said that we had over a hundred people at the rally technically they are right we did have over a hundred but give me a break!!!

I still haven't come down from the emotional high of the Rally for America.

I have seen our rally on News 14 and have heard that 11 had something on theirs also. I didn't see 11 there. They must have been incognito.

As I told you, this was the most professional production. All of the speakers and singers were tops. Of course my favorite was the more or less Honorable CongressmanBillyBob. We had a great turnout and the number of Freepers was unbelievable. I hope I met everyone but I know I missed Kayak. I hate that.

I called WTVD to protest their coverage. Stating there were "just over 100" was just plain inaccurate. They said it was from the police official crowd estimates. So, I did a little digging. I called Raleigh PD. They said it was a State Capitol PD thing and so they did no official estimates. I would have to call SCPD. So, I did. And they said they don't do those numbers, RPD does. And if they didn't do them, then the count didn't get done. So, WTVD is officially taking the stance that they got the count from an organization that didn't do one. But, when the Anti-Bush protesters put theirs together, the crowd estimate was not from official sources, but the organizers. Also, the reporterette who did the story, according to WTVD was the one responsible for getting the numbers correct, didn't even attend the rally.

Something stinks like the garbage on Blount Street next to Tir Na Og.
