Remember, it was just not only the grenades responsible for the injuries. There was also small arms fire, that was mostly responsible for the injuries.

The reporters on the ground (I've heard two, one from Time and one from Sky News) NEVER mentioned gunfire. The gunfire rumor probably started when CNN guy thought he heard gunshots before getting disconnected from the reporter on the scene (Time). It turned out that the line had already been disconnected and the CNN guy had just heard the feed coming in from Baghdad AAA.

There is absolutely no way one of our guys would do this. In Vietnam, the officers were often dealing with guys who were drafted and sucked into somethng they did not want to be a part of. The troops that have enlisted have done so because they want to be a part of our military. Until I hear Tommy Franks come forward and state one of our guys committed treason, I won't believe it was one of ours.
