Question: How well do biological weapons such as anthrax survive in a war environment?

Anthrax, in it's weaponized form, is a dry powder containing spores. It can last in this form for a really long time, and isn't real temperature sensitive. I presume the spores would start to "germinate" if they got wet, but in that environment (desert) that isn't much of an issue.

I'm not sure how temp sensitive other toxins such as smallpox, tularemia, and botulinum are.

The anthrax sent to the US senate survived quite well, which after all is a war environment these days. It was Dasholes office if I recall correctly.
