Iraqi soldier who was found to have an envelope with a suspicious powder, presumably anthrax Any question where the post 911 anthrax in envelopes came from anymore?

I saw your post and it linked to the home page of MSNBC.
I looked around and found nothing. Why did you link to MSNBC? show the link or pull the link and say you heard it

By March 23, 09:00 Zulu, the leading elements of the 3rd ID may reach the outskirts of Baghdad. Depending on the state of Iraqi resistance, there are two scenarios: Paris, 1944 or the Shuri Line, Okinawa 1945. On Okinawa, one will recall, there was a rapid advance from the beaches, to the elation of all, until the main line of resistance was encountered. It is there, if at all, that we will encounter WMD.

The Iraqis are naming their operation "Blixkreig".
Seriously, this is a good find. I suspect these kinds of operations to sporadically (no pun intended) occur and I'm sure that the US troops are alert and expect the same.

"Is anthrax spread person to person"
No that would be if it were "contagious"
You must have pwesonal contact with the anthrax spores

It could be a hoax--it forces our guys to put on gas masks, and generally slows them down. If it's true, though, this could link Saddam to the anthrax attacks here at home... and that would be very bad for Hans Blix and the left-wing Democrats who say Saddam never attacked us.

WAY TO GO ARNOTT!
That's why you need medically trained journalists out in the field with the Marines.
They need to start looking for the bioweapons!
Hope they got CIPRO with those guys!

I say grab the envelope immediately and compare that anthrax with the anthrax linked to 9-11.
There was more than one strain. The strain in the forgotten Chilean anthrax letter, with a New York postmark and a Florida return address, was not the same as the others.

Tom Dasshole's name on the envelope?

Saddam didn't have any WMD's his soldiers did. They were asking the wrong questions. < /sarcasm>

Hey Mr. Dyson,
About 20 people (most of the MSNBC audience) have already posted they saw Bob Arnot give the report live. So did I. What is suspect about it? He just said it 10 minutes ago. Do you think he's out there with a link to the Internet to file the story? What a dope. Sit down. The only thing suspect is your acuity.

Why would he carry it in an envelope? Maybe he was planning on mailing it to Tom Daschle?

Hypothetical Blix answer: There are unconfirmed reports of Iraqi missiles in Baghdad. These may also be large cylindrical tubes with kerosene and fins. We believe it is for large barbeques at the palace. ROTFL

Can anyone send me the SkyNews live video link? Please and Thanks!

They are handing this stuff to soldiers in envelopes, yet are capable of firing artillery shells and missiles with it, but they don't do that? I'm not buying it. They may have given this guy an envelope with baby powder, and the "pump him up", they told him it was anthrax he could use to kill the enemy.

I want to see Chiraq publicly apologize. Then resign. They will probably give him the Ignobel peace prize instead.

I am asking for a direct link. Otherwise, this report should be regarded as highly suspect. Direct reports, from cable news or other visual media sources, are considered as valid as the written word around here, provided their integrity is maintained.
It's not necessary to have a "link." Enough people saw the same report.
It is not "highly suspect."
