Honestly my opinion is that homeschooled or not, it's parental involvement that makes all the difference
I;ve never been homeschooled, Ive been in Catholic School all my life, but I come from a mother who forced me to read the classics, go to the theatre and the symphony, listen to music that was not in the top 40, read the news all at a young age. Sure, I may have ciomplained a bit at the time, but it's helped me be well rounded and more knowledgeable than my peers.
It's parents that are needed for our children, not tax money for public schools with useless and undereducated teachers. It all startes with the family.

Amen friend.
My daughters are 5 and 7...they'd rather go to the museum than the mall and they think Britney Spears is trashy...I'm doing my job well.
My son is 17 months...I'm sure he will someday disagree about britney
