"Did you by any chance get to ask Norm about his ANWR vote? "
YES !!!!!! Glad you mentioned that !
Ok, after the niceities with Coleman, I did say "It would've been nice if you would've voted for ANWR."
Norm GRABBED MY HAND & ARM, WOULD NOT LET GO, and said "I had to stick to my Campaign promise. If it was a 50th Vote, he would have voted YES."
Norm then told me "Hang in there, there's another chance it will be brought up and then HE WILL VOTE YES !
He did not let go of my Arm. I cannot describe to ALL OF YOU how genuine, honest & strong Norm Coleman is.
It was a lifetime memory.

Ya know, it might have not been time to do so, but it shows some guts to do what you say you are going to do. We may not like it, but it is integrity that he says what he promised to do. A man of his word... that habit must be getting contagious...

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really glad to hear that. I like Coleman a LOT...and was so disappointed in him for voting NO.
Glad to know it will come back up again....after all, this wasn't even the green light.....it was just to 'start' the process.
THANK YOU!!!!! I now can tell the REASON when I see folks trashing him due to this vote. (yes.....some are, sigh)
