Something is coming and coming fairly shortly. Embedded FNC reporter says he won't be reporting for a while, he spoke during what sounded like their last rest before a significant action. Franks alluded to the same. Even though some have said that the better part of shock and awe is over, I don't think that is true.

Here's what I think is going on. To illustrate, I'll post one of those handy road maps...

Thanks Chris, your analysis is probably closer to actual than mine.
I looked at the map and an envelope west and north of Baghdad would have to go through Karbala and would be non-stealth.

A key to a rapid thrust into Baghdad would be a capitluation of at least 1 of the RG divisions in the way.

Shock & Awe with Warthogs, B-52s and a few well placed and timed MOABs should make the nut.

Shep just cut off a Brit reporter that was trying to say his sourses were saying that it's not confirmed that soldier was muslim. Shep cut him off and said "imbedded reproters say it is so and we've been told to go with that report.
