I don't think those questions have been answered. Last I heard the soldier hasn't been charged with anything yet and there is another guy in custody as well.

Also Al Jazeera supposedly reporting and showing graphic video of supposed civilian casaulties from Basra. I have to wonder why our embedded journalists aren't either disputing or corroborating this??

I don't care for Geraldo that much, but last week's program from Afghanistan was wonderful. Like the reporters who are embedded with the troops in Iraq, I think Geraldo is gaining a different perspective of our nation's military.

Well, I'm back from work.

Aside from the wigged out paratrooper who tried to kill some of his fellows, I understand that we've had a pretty good day in the Euphrates river valley.

I understand that forward recon elements have reached Najef, about 100 miles from Baghdad. That tells me that forward scouts are much closer.
