I saw a spokesman (goverment or something) once on FNC and he said it could be pronounced many different ways but the closest to English would be "Cutter" as in a ship.
To: Miss Marple
Agreed. That was a nice fillet job Jarrett did.

I agree. I expected any minute to hear him say "selected, not elected."

It seems to me a certainty that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of the Arab women are the outstanding causes for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly as he was around the year 700, while we have been developing."~General George S. Patton

I caught part of it.
Fact is, a couple of weeks ago the United Arab Emirates announced they were sending air support and troops.

I doubt if the 'arab street' has an average I.Q. that even approaches room temperature. Nothing but a large, smelly, vocal bunch of drooling idiots.

CNN's audience = Noam Chomski, Michael Moore, Tom Daschle, Pfaw, Walter Cronkite and a really angry NY Senator...and captive audiences at airports, hotels and restaurants around the world.

Yeah, I saw it. At the same time, CNN & MSNBC had major coverage of anti war demonstrators. Fox let's the people decide. The others are for the sheeple.

During the bombing, the announcer said that the building belonged to a high Iraqi gov't official. There was another one where he said the 'office building of so&so is burning. So, I guess we are taking out the 'personal property' of some of the higher ups when we can.

I don't know about that, what I do know is that the propoganda is thick. I'm not sure how any of us would do in similar circumstances. It will take them rising up under their own leadership to believe in democracy and capitalism, and hopefully, Iraq will provide that beacon.
