The thread is headless. US official confirm photos of panic posting, Howlin was seen taken off on a stretcher. Rumors of null and void negotiating a surrender, while Alexander Haig has just grabbed the microphone and is declaring to be in charge.

And in all the confusion, Rummy has gone for the kill. Reports say he has used a modified B-52 to drop "Ol Crusty" directly onto the hospital where Saddam is convalescing. Everone else ran out screaming. Poor sot, he was tied to a gurney, and died a horrible death.

Aw c'mon, its not that bad. I passed through there a couple of weeks ago. But what's up with that waterfall by the freeway? Sure looks fake. That's not the actual falls from whence the town gets its name, is it?

Really enjoyed the Texan comparison (post 103)! A brilliant analogy. But since Baghdad is fairly east (Austin), I'm not sure where that puts me, a Houstonian. Am I in Al Kur or Al Amarah? Basra? And what's up with the liberators (from Ma Richards) in Brownsville putting up and then taking down the flag?

I'm 28 years old, so basically I have grown up with Saddam as the bad guy over there in Iraq..the epitome of all that is evil..it's a nice thought that none of my children will have that same experience. Let's just Pray there isn't another one waiting to take his place as the official bad guy.

I see a lot of 'fundraiser' folks here. Handle these threads like those freepathon threads. The mods never 'managed' those threads. You all will be fine, it's a new thread idea, and we don't have set 'rules'. So, make them up amongst yourselves. Honestly, you don't want us to make up the rules. The only reason I'm here is we have had many abuse reports regarding thread management issues tonight.

We need leaflet drops over the anti-war protests. Tell 'em what it's all about.

I'm no enviro-wacko but I think that would be a waste of paper.

I don't know where I'd be without FR. Where else online can we get news BEFORE it makes the news? Freepers break so many stories and spread information so quickly...that combined with the debate and power of organization...I just think this site is awesome. Next pay check, I'm donating $50.00 to FR and wish everyone else could do the same...heck, $5.00 from every freeper would be enough to handle your bandwidth for a year and run a few ads on national TV!

I'm getting ready to retire for the night but, as is my wont, will post the new knowledge the wise I has gloamed this day.

Today, I realized that liberals were mean and nasty people. No, I'm serious. Okay, so y'all already knew that. But today, it dawned over my marble head.

I belong to another list. Bunch of liberals, a lot of them from Oregon and Washington state you can imagine.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, will ever change their minds that this war is wrong, Bush is a war-mongering idiot and we definitely should not drill in Anwar.

EVEN, and this is what blows my mind, the now evident fact that much of the horrors they (the liberals) predicted would come from this conflict, has YET happened.

They said the oil wells would be burned. There have been some fires but as I am always amazed, our army planned for it. Several oil fields were quickly captured today by the Navy Seals. Also, no great civilian casualties, at least not reported yet. Our army's been dropping leaflets of warning. No chemical weapons lobbed all about.

I know it's a "not yet" kind of thing but no, the liberals won't even acknowledge some small joy that the issues they so feared has yet to happen. Not to mention that small matter that we may have gotten Saddamn so toot de sweet.

I read another small minded and mean liberal editorial today. This missive asserting the embedding of journalists with the forces to be a bad thing.

"The army hopes the journalists will bond with the troops while charcoal body piles are kept carefully hidden," I paraphrase, but you get the point.

If this isn't the most unrealistic assessment mine lying eyes have chanced to read. Did this writer really, I mean really, think that of all the journalists currently embedded with the troops...all the journalists from very respected publications and major networks; that every one of these journalists, at least a few proud of their profession and a bit ambitious, would OVERLOOK A PILE OF CHARCOAL BODIES!?

Sure it's a run-on sentence but I had too much to lay before your eyes to make my point. Which this is mean liberal think that defies our very nature...to be the happiest and best we could be. Which would include David Bloom so desperate to redeem himself from presidential scolding that he might well plant a pile of charcoal bodies much less overlook such a thing.

That's it. Hope I made my point. Talk at you tomorrow hopefully.
