The skynews reporter said the new explosions came in shortly after the 'all clear' (so called) and as they hit a new 'air raid' sounded again.

Maybe, just maybe, some of our President's critics will STFU. Nah, they will CTFS.
Change the Subject.

I wonder why we sent a letter of apology to them through the Swiss instead of sending it directly. We don't have an embassy. The Swiss maintain our "interests"...

US forces move towards town of Najaf
By Charles Clover in Camp Pennsylvania, Kuwait
Published: March 22 2003 20:16 | Last Updated: March 22 2003 20:16
US troops pushed the western flank of their invasion over 300 km into southern Iraq on Saturday, reaching an important objective just to the south of the Shia holy city of Najaf, and seizing a key bridge across the Euphrates river just north of Nasiriya.
The 3rd Infantry Division, leading the advance, met with light resistance along the way from lightly armed paramilitary units, but reported no casualties.
On Saturday evening, advance elements of the 3rd Division were fighting with a unit of Baath Party militia to the south west of Najaf. They earlier encountered a unit of Al Quds paramilitary forces outside the town of Samawa, which lies between Nasiriya and Najaf on the Euphrates river.

This Just In:
Saddam Hussein phoned President George W. Bush.
"I had a dream about the United States," he said. "I could see the whole country, and over every building and home was a banner," said Saddam.
"What was on the banner?" asked Mr. Bush.
"LONG LIVE SADDAM!" answered the dictator.
"I'm so glad that you called," said President Bush, "because I too had a dream. In my dream, I saw Iraq and it was more beautiful than ever; totally rebuilt with many tall, gleaming office buildings, large residential subdivisions with swimming pools in every yard; and over every building and home was a big, beautiful banner."
"What did the banner say?" asked Saddam.
"I don't know," answered President Bush, "I can't read Hebrew."
For those who missed it on thread two.

Just got back from an Eagle Scout ceremony. So, an Iraqi was found with anthrax and instructions how to deliver. Wonder if Blixie is feeling a little exposed?
