Yes, she doesn't seem to get along with others. But, then again would you expect anything different from someone who plays chess?

One of my favorite movies is called "The Great Chess Movie." It's a very dark but somewhat tongue-in-cheek (sound familiar, The Thin Man? hehehe) documentary about the chess world at the time of the cold war. Back when the Soviet Union held Korchnoi's wife and family hostage in the Soviet Union, after he himself defected, in order to interfere with his chess game and thus ensure that Karpov, a non-Jewish chess player, dominated the world stage.

It's so silly that the Soviet system mixed chess with international politics. It was so absurd because chess so obviously doesn't have much to do with anything. :)
