Kudos to the aviation forces for playing their role. I'm still struck by the lack of press reporting on air activities, which means to me that much more is going on than we'd like anyone to know about.
This entire operation is unimaginable. All elements seem to be curling together like fingers making a fist.
I'm beginning to think you won't see the "shock and awe" (I hate that term now) until Baghdad is being assaulted. It really seems like they are rolling everything into place in Iraq, and more importantly they are not rushing things - they seem to really going for a coordinated attack (the shock and awe) - seeing all of the units rolling into Iraq, it feels like they'll reach a point, halt, make the Iraqis stew even more/and or surrender, and then just knock the living **** out of them.
Feels like one of the campaigns out of WWII. As modern as things are, this feels like a true campaign, and not a "jump in, hit this, jump out" which is what I was kinda worried about. They are taking care to make sure they get no surprises from the rear, and that they all move as one.
