Is this story actually contained in your link (I don't see it)?
Or is it just something you heard?
Or what?

Can you give some examples of their wrong facts?
Easy.
The weekend before 911, those two clowns were saying that Osama bin Laden was no longer a threat because it had been so long since he last attacked us.

This news can't be made public yet because the Iraqi commanders are insisting that their families back in Baghdad be saved from certain death BEFORE they surrender. Once the news is out, it'll be too late.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-)

You all know Qusay. Isn't that the one who heads the NAACP?

If the Iraqi Army begins to collapse within the next 48 hours, by God, the folks over at DU will have apoplexy. From your keyboard to God's ears! I really enjoy your posts; though I rarely, if ever, reply. Thanks so much for your insights.

If Sadaam is down, we want peace in the streets. This is why the formal surrender and pictures of the Republican Guard with their hands up won't come until our forces reach Baghdad.

Rummy just came out of a briefing with Congress with a smile on his face, btw. He had his humor back, so it must be looking good.

Your right about mass revolts, but it's not time yet. The US hasn't yet established itself at all key points. Imagine world reaction if we declared Saddam dead. People would be screaming that hostilities should stop. And hostilities cannot stop until the Republican Guard is destroyed.
It's better to continue with the plan, and assume/pretend that Hussein is alive.

Speaking of which, who won the War with Iraq pool?

I heard it over the live WABC feed. The hosts were doing a pre-show meeting. Bachelor was on the phone from Kennedy Airport, apparently in an effort to get to Baghdad. He referred to this major story that would not be announced until tomorrow morning. He said "they all believe he's dead...no resistance out of Baghdad."

I spent 20 minutes looking for that feed but couldn't find it. You have it handy?

Batchelor and Alexander have very trustworthy sources
within the US military.

It was a live feed, not something in an archive. Every day, here in my office in Taiwan, I turn on the WABC live stream. Often (like now) it goes for long periods of time with nothing on it at all.
I had been listening to Michael Savage. His show cut out. Then after about 15 minutes I hear Alexander, Bachelor, and Crowley's voices doing a pre-show meeting. I've been getting this every day lately. That's where the information came from.

Just a moment to daydream.... consider the irony of it all.... an entire country liberated in less time than it took to prove our President REALLY won, despite chads and dimples.
As far as the pool, how about having the war extend through Sunday evening, then at Oscar time it would be great to have them preempted for a live broadcast of freedom celebrations from Iraq.

I'm already in.

Batchelor and Alexander didn't even have a program until AFTER 9/11. They did guest appearances on Steve Malzberg's program on WABC (770 AM) in New York City. So what if even they reported an erroneous item back then? Their record has been nothing short of stellar since they have been regulars on the WABC schedule. Their Pentagon sources and their Afghanistan, Khazhakstan, Moscow, and Israeli sources
are to be envied in the news world.

Batchelor and Alexander On Air 10pm
They are moderates,
yet they have very good interviews
from around the world!
WABC added Batchelor and Alexander to our line-up of stars in the summer of 2001. When the worst terrorist attack in history occurred on 9/11/01, WABC decided to move them into the nightly line-up, 10pm to 1am. Their show quickly became a huge hit, as listeners loved the information and dramatic style of this dynamic duo. Join them for a special "bonus edition" on Saturday night 9pm to 1am.
Both longtime New York literary voices, John has published seven political novels as well as the best known history of the Republican Party, "Ain't You Glad You Joined the Republicans?" Paul's Rolling Stone profile of Governor George W. Bush was used as primary opposition research by Gore campaign manager Donna Brazille; Paul's Rolling Stone profile of Senator John McCain started a pie fight in the Republican Party.
Last year, John and Paul flew one end of the country to the other in the presidential primaries and national campaign, interviewing the dignitaries who are now Team Bush in Washington, such as Spencer of Michigan, Whitman of New Jersey, Karl Rove, Karen Hughes, Laura Bush of Texas, as well as chatting with the Democrats who are now the opposition, such as McCall, Lowey, Schumer, Cuomo, Ferarro, Kerrey, Hevesi of New York.
This year, for their Sunday Spin, they expanded their hunt for stalwart Republicans and adamant Democrats as well as growing their appetite for the hot pol and the hotter story, such as McCain of Arizona, Edwards of North Carolina, Jeffords of Vermont, Cox of California.
Also, they have added a new show, Conspiracy Radio, now and again on Saturday Night, to explore the unsolved political mysteries that color the daily headlines, such as the JFK assassination, the Watergate and Whitewater investigations, the Pardongate probe.
Whenever the alarm bells ring -- it's a new team to chronicle the W Years. Join John and Paul!
