Execution of deserters.... So much for loyalty. All it does is make our propaganda leaflets that much more believable.
And if it's 20% of the RG (and I think it's probably more), then probably > 90% of the conscripts will surrender.

YTN, South Korean TV station, is running a news ticker in Korean right now (4 p.m. Eastern Time) saying something to the effect that "High Ranking Military of Republic of Iraq Army Surrender". However, it also said 'doctor' after that word, although I interpret this as the above.
