That's great, but you know there is going to be a bunch of accidental deaths. During peace time, you hear about a military plane or helicopter going down ever couple of weeks or so as they push the envelope in practice.
The announcement to all nations to expel the Iraqi Consuls is good news. Sec Rumsfeld said last wk. that we were talking to certain Iraqi generals about options of surrender. I think the reason we have not used the EMP is to keep these lines of communications open, and is ongoing.
The S and A is being held back in the hopes of being able to end this very early, and prevent damage to the ifrastructure, and more important casulties to our troops and the Iraqi civilians. The ultimate goal is a foregone conclusion to us and to the Iraqis, why not give the pragmatists in the Iraqi Army hierarchy a chance to solve all problems?
