I wait to watch stuff on DVD or HBO when it comes out and I might enjoy the movie like "Spider-man" or something.

My daughter had problems earlier and she had an older version of Windows Media Player. She only got sound and no video. She downloaded an newer version of media player and it worked fine after that. Video and sound.

Apparently, the main thrust won't begin for several hours, at least. 101st AirAssault hasn't moved yet. First Marines and the British 7th Armored have only advanced partway towards Basra, having invested Uum Qasr. 40 and 42 Commando of the Royal Marines Commandos will be flanking the move north.

Out in the West, however, some mystery stuff apparently is going on in the SCUD box. Things could get going within a couple of hours.

I get the impression that Tommy Franks is dressing the line. He needs to find several schwerepunkten through which he can break the will of the Iraqi armed forces and provide room for some open field running. One of the things we aren't getting is the rate of the American advance of the Southern spearhead, led by Third ID. We literally don't know where it is.

Once we break through the initial Iraqi MLR, you'll see nothing but rapid armored advances and leapfrogging of airborne troops.

I keep wondering where Ollie North is. He's with an airborne Marine unit and they haven't been heard from all day. I keep thinking about airborne forces and the river bridge(s).

Yeah, I'm wondering that, too. Ollie is with a Marine air assault unit. They have to be the tip of the spear.

Battlefield prep, still. I hope H and C are on tonight so that we get to see Ollie.
