Remember this important thing - Being a parent is not a popularity contest. Be willing to train your children to do what's right, and not just what will make you popular with them. If you keep that in mind - your kids will come out okay.

Thank you for the advice. I have been working on that very problem with my daughter and trying not to repeat it with my son!
