I hear a roar getting louder and louder and I think, "Here it comes!", only to see a truck pass by.

Nothing so far.

I'm with you. This Baghdad webcam is truly amazing.
I think you'll hear air-raid sirens first. They have air defense capabilities and should be able to give their citizens and soldiers a heads up.

I was just watching NBC. Big report on the boxer measure to prevent vote on drilling in Alaska. Next they have a story about bad the economy is and the fact that a quick and successful war will probably not do much for the ailing economy. Even had an economist from Goldman Sachs talking about just how bad it was. Seems I have read some stories about GS and the clinton years? Next they had a nice piece on the power of the Internet and what a great tool it is for war protesters. It was reported that in just three months the protesters have accomplished what it took three years to do during Vietnam. Did see a FR sticker on the guys desk visiting the "pro war" web site. Also, if you want to protest the war be sure to light a candle and place it in a window.

I was wondering why MSNBC would put up this camera tool on the internet tonight if their reporters didn't know for sure that our troops are going in tonight?? Unless they get a kick out checking their logs and knowing that millions of people across the nation are staring stupidly at a martian-colored video caption with occasional cars dancing across the screen.

Hell, at CNN they had a live audience on Crossfire waiting to watch the action.

We're all going to feel silly when we find out tomorrow AM that our forces are 250+ KM into Iraq in the north and south, and watching Baghdad for the big air assault has all been a ruse.
