ROTFLTIP! They're on a mission from God!

I'm not that familiar with the LA area, so not sure if these are some of the same protestors--just some of the Code Pink idiots here, including at least this one actress. Where are the rest of the acting fools?
Actress Lisa Bonet carries a pink umbrella during an anti-war rally at National Cemetery in Los Angeles Wednesday, March 19, 2003. Women's peace activist group Code Pink held a mock funeral procession with body bags and children's coffins outside the gates of the cemetery.

Let's just say that if you take a walk along 8th avenue in Chelsea NYC, you better cover your a-s, both figuratively and, most of all LITERALLY! Let's just say the "Chelsea Boys" are "Man's Men," albeit more in the Rock Hudson sense than the John Wayne sense.

In rural Indiana, war protesters who stand in the middle of the road don't block traffic, although they do receive immediate nominations for the Darwins Awards.
Heh, I have a friend whose father was an Indiana State Trooper in the 1960's to the 1980's after he served in Vietnam. He told me his father "has a technique to deal with war protesters that he used back then, a nightstick up the side of the head." I have nothing against free speech or protest but they really cross the line when they disrupt the lives and livelyhood of most people who need to work and get by everyday not to mention interfering with military matters. If they pull crap like that, we should send them to Gitmo.

"don't these idiots have jobs"
Probably not - or as one person told me - he knew employees took sick days in order to walk in protests.

I live three blocks from there. I'd free them, but the LAPD are apparently using clubs now, and I'd prefer to let the professionals do their job.

I'm not sure if there is or not, but I remember Chelsea being the punchline of the old joke. "What do you get when you cross a crooked politician and a crooked lawyer?"

How about individual or class action suits against them for causing missed appointments, late child care charges, etc?Don't get me started! I work in the heart of Downtown Rochester, NY. Every time the professional protesters get their shorts in a bunch - when the city comes out with a new budget, when the county comes out with a new budget (There's never enough money for the social workers - I mean, for the children) or when President Bush says anything at all, the same self-important jerks show up to protest down Main Street.
I don't even care if they block the street when I'm working - but they show up early and hog all the good parking, making it more inconvenient and more expensive for me!!!!
I used to just have contempt for the always-protesting crowd. Now I actively dislike them. A lot!

Chic exponents of abortion on demand will accuse President George W. Bush of wanting to kill Iraqi babies; socialist proponents of public theft will accuse him of trying to steal Iraqi oil; and people whose safety and freedom have been guaranteed by U.S. military protection all their lives, will chant that "Amerika" is a fascist country. It is a scene of human depravity, worthy of description by the Hebrew prophets.EXCELLENTLY PUT!!!!!!!!

When Bratton arrived with his Homeland Security expert and PR guru in tow, he made sure to announce he was launching an immediate Internal Affairs investigation into the officers that baton'd the Palisades High students.
Yesterday's highlight was Bratton claiming that Los Angeles was the least prepared major city in the United States for a terrorist attack, while at the exact same time Gray Davis was telling press that California was the safest. In the end, the City Council bought 8500 bio suits and proceeded to blame President Bush.
