Living in Ontario my entire life, I can safely say that this was the most harsh, cold and dreadful winter I've ever been through. It's now 4 degrees out, thankfully, and to me, after 3 months of tundra life, it feels like midsummer. I could go out in shorts and a T-shirt and be fine.

We lived in Minnesota for 16 years. It took a full year to thaw out afterward.

We've had two or three mild winters in a row, but in the 1990's we had several that seemed colder than normal, so I've seen no clear "global warming" trend here over the past 30 years.
