nice try, but wrong analogy. Now picture the British soldier in 1942 standing in the snow and wondering why the appeasers allowed Hitler to become so powerful when Europe had a full decade's warning.

It is the sailor not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier not the poet who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier not the campus organzier who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, the sailor, the airman, the marine who salute the flag, who serve under the flag, and who's coffin is draped by the flag, that allows protestors to burn the flag.

No analogy intended. The point is, there are always 2 sides to a war. Picture any soldier, any war, any side, thinking the same thing...I didn't have a damn thing to do with this, why am I here?
