"W's Promise!!"
(To be sung to Bruce Springsteen's "The Promise")

Sultan's workin' fer Victory...the BigMan works downtown...
CM works in a rock and roll band,
Lookin' for that diff'rence-makin' sound!!
We've gotta li'l job up in DeeCeeTown...
We're Right, THAT I know!!
Some nights, I FReep with Black's judges...some nights, I write songs...
We'll follow our dreams just like those RATS do way up on TeeVee!!
We'll Whup RATS' Challengers 'til Left's Benign...Screw the Sosh'lists' and DemonRATS' FReaks!!
Lib'rals' Promise's been broken...DemRATS ain't gonna git MUD's Dreams!!

Folks, we won't haveta challenge Left by ourselves...
Righteous folks got somethin' that we'll embolden!!
I lived a secret...I should'a kept to myself!!
But I got drunk one night and I smoked it...
All our lives, WE Fight Fer Right...
The Fight that Mankind must ALWAYS Win!!
Every day, it just seems hard to believe...
The LIES RATS're believing in!!
Lib'rals're DO-O-OLTS!!! Yo, FReepers, you are so Right!!
Clinton's a HO-O-O!! SlickWillie's Lyin' and Slick Righteous Shall Smite!!

Right won big once off the Normandy coast...
But somehow FRench fergot our loss!!
It's TIME Right fights like we wuz makin' up fer broken spirits...
Of all the liberties we've lost!!
Lib'rals' promise's been broken...RATS Defend TREASON!!
BigGuv'ment steals something from down in your soul!!
Fight when the TRUTH is spoken and the RATS say, "NO JUSTICE!!
Something in OUR Heart Grows Bold!!
We'll Defend the FRee from the Sosh'list RATS...
WHUP the HollyWeirdo Stars!!
'Cuz when the LeftWing hath Broken...We'll Defend Our Righteous Home!!
FReepin' Fer the Soldiers Who'll Liberate Iraq!!
Lib'rals are DO-O-OLTS!!...for the lost lovers and all the fixed games
Thunder Road, for the tires rushing by in the rain
Thunder Road, Billy and me we'd always say
Thunder Road, we were gonna take it all and throw it all away

Missed you at the Rally. But it's no wonder in that crowd!! WWasn't it great!! Did speak to Governor Warner, though. For some reason he was coming out the gate as I was going in and the security people were making a path for him. Wonder why he left just as the festivities were starting??? Guess he stayed long enough to get his pictute took with the patriots.

Interesting obituary from today's Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Susan was an eternal optimist, an unapologetic liberal and a delightful dinner and party guest. She was never a member of the NRA or of the Republican party.

I don't like to speak ill of the recently dead, so I'll keep my yap shut about this willfully-IGNORANT Lib'ral...may she rest in Peace.

MUD

BTW..."eternal optimists" do NOT vote fer DemonRATS, this lady was a "Utopianist", which is a far cry from an "Optimist", IMHO!

Ten Thousand?! Hah!! There we carloads of folks arriving up until 2:30, just to be amongst the sea of American flags...great time, and I couldn't be prouder of my fellow Virginians!! You shouldda heard US--meaning EVERYBODY IN THE CROWD, it seemed--during the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance when we raised our voices en masse to say, "Under GOD"...hair on the back of my neck stood up!!

RTD's "Rally FER America" Article

"Thousands of Virginians crowded onto a sun-kissed field outside Richmond yesterday, chanting "USA", waving American flags of all sizes and cheering the U.S. troops in the Persian Gulf. They toted pictures of their loved ones in the military. They shouted the "under God" part of the Pledge of Allegiance. And they treated a Patrick Henry impersonator like a rock star."

"Winning Big!!"

"We're winning, the Iraqis are losing, and the American people have executive seats for what may prove to be the most successful military campaign in history. I do recognize that the majority of our journalists are doing their best to cover this war accurately and fairly. But, with a few admirable exceptions, even seasoned reporters lack the perspective needed to judge the war's progress. Few have read military history. Even fewer have served in the military. They simply don't understand what they are seeing. Every low-level firefight seems a great battle to them. Each pause in the advance is read as a worrisome delay. While they see friendly casualties up close, they rarely witness the devastation inflicted on our enemies. And when isolated groups of Iraqis do stand and fight, the journalists imply it means the Iraqi people are opposed to our intervention. Let's try to understand what's actually happening."

Thanks fer sharing...MUD

"Let us hope today is a better day for our troops than yesterday..."

Yep...yesterday was proof that WAR IS HELL for all involved, but I couldn't be prouder of OUR Troops!! The sacrifices America's made in support of Liberty and against Tyranny and Oppression are emblematic of America's status as God's Country, IMHO!!

RE:"Interesting obituary from today's Richmond Times-Dispatch." :

"Susan was an eternal optimist, an unapologetic liberal and a delightful dinner and party guest. She was never a member of the NRA or of the Republican party."

Of course, she probably wrote her own obit.
With the left, EVERYTHING is political: take any event, be it a family dinner, awards ceremony, or even their own funeral, and a devoted Lib will try to turn it into a political diatribe to their cause.
Political activism is their god.

This is what my Sweedie and I had to contend with, when we went to the airport this Saturday: Portland freeways were blocked this weeekend by protestors.
