Good to hear from Denny Hastert. I was afraid Daschle was going to get a complete pass from the Republicans. Daschle's remarks were wrong, untrue and dispicable and I urge every single freeper to use the web form link that PhiKapMom has provided. Let Daschle hear from you. Not only does he not deserve a pass on this, but he needs to resign.

I urged the creep to resign ASAP and to apologise to HIS President before the door hit him in tha butt, well, now that I think of it, the door would probably hit him in the back of the head..... hehe, same difference huh? LOL!

It took some real guts for Denny Hastert to criticize Daschle. Republicans aren't use to badmouthing Democrats!

And today, Rush smacked Daschle down good. He didn't let up on him. I especially liked Rush reminding his listeners of Daschle's hypocrisy about putting partisanship aside after 9-11, but I remember the famous hug between President Bush and Daschle differently.

After President Bush's awe inspiring speech to the joint congress, he walked down to receive handshakes from members. Daschle was there angling to get on camera. Rush remembers President Bush instigating the hug, but I think it was Daschle. I'll never forget that Daschle looked like a scared puppy, I swore that night Daschle was crying, he was so frightened, it even looked to me as if Daschle put his head on Bush's shoulder as if to be comforted.

But that was one of those foxhole conversions, and Daschle soon returned to norm...a spiteful, vengeful little man. And whoa! Back then, Daschle hadn't yet become the hateful man that the 2002 elections brought out. Losing the White House was bad enough, but losing the senate really shook Daschle up, fried his brain, and that's why he keeps making these over the top, unacceptable statements. But all the democrats are making the same mistaken judgements about the American people. Like the Dixie Chick, they don't seem to know we hear everything they say, we remember, and when our national security is at stake, we don't forget.

Here is my email to Daschle:

It is time for you to resign from the position of Minority Leader of the Senate. Your remarks about the President of the United States are inexcusable.
In fact, it is also time for you to leave the Senate completely. You are a scab that needs to be debrided from our government.
