If the Iraqis actually do this, the Americans should respond as did John Singleton Mosby when Custer started hanging Mosby's men - kill 10 Iraqi prisoners for every allied soldier similiarly treated.

Such action will qucikly put a damper on the enthusiam of any Iraqi military underlings to act this way. Who knows, they might be the next ones.

Saddam once again demonstrates to the world the depth of his depravity and the degeneracy of the French in pandering to this guy.

Many of those Iraqi prisoners you want to do that to don't deserve it. Especially if they have surrendered.

Naji Sabri has less than 35 hours before his life starts to change permanently. With any luck his fellow citizens will get him before we do.

Sadaam and his inner circle don't care about cannon fodder. Their orders are carried out by a tight group of insiders. To be effective, the threat must be to crucify every officer of the "SPecial Republican Guard" we get.

Just their officers. They could care less about their "cannon fodder".
