My e-mail to Senator Da$$hole:
Senator Daschle:
I, too, am saddened--saddened and shocked that you would stoop to such a crass politicization of an issue so critical to our national security and the support of our troops in harm's way overseas, who have gone to the Persian Gulf in order to defend freedom and democracy, and while we're at it, to defend YOUR SORRY ASS.
YOU chose to frame this as "miserable failure of diplomacy" by the Bush administration. You know DAMN well that any diplomacy was doomed to failure in the face of the intransigence and downright perfidy of France, Germany, and other FORMER allies--nations that are now HELL bent on doing all within their power to obstruct the U.S. and continue the policy of APPEASEMENT in Iraq, primarily in defense of their own economic interests, including their illegal sales contracts supplying Iraq's WMD programs.
I'm able to discern this same intransigence and perfidy in your leadership of a DISLOYAL opposition in the U.S. Senate. Devoid of any constructive ideas of your own, all you know how to do is obstruct and delay and hope that you can prevent Bush from implementing his agenda. You would rather see us suffer a humiliating defeat internationally, and you would rather see our economy continue to struggle, only for your own partisan gain. GET ON THE TRAIN, OR GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!
I can only hope that your Republican opponent in 2004 uses footage of your shameful comments of 17 March before the AFSCME alongside footage of that SNAKE Jacques Chirac, and then reminds your fellow Dakotans that when America stood with George W. Bush and with our troops in the Gulf, Tommy Daschle stood with France.
What you did yesterday was an attempt to cut our President's legs out from under him. Well, what goes around, comes around. Get ready. Bush is only warming up with Saddam. You're the next target!
Now, why don't you just sit back and enjoy a fresh, steaming cup of STFU!

Nice letter! You can send it to his home paper, the Argus Leader, too:

I am thinking of sending his home page an editorial letting South Dakotans know how disgusted we are by their senator(s). Maybe they will finally feel some shame and blame for this man, stir from their slumber and vote him out of office.

Actually, I'd prefer it if he DIDN'T get out of the way of the train.
