Opinions please...What do we do if they kill several thousand of our guys with wmd. Politically, surely we can't strike back with chemicals or biological agents. Can we really afford to nuke Bagdad and kill perhaps millions of muslims. Wouldn't that start a huge muslim revolt(Bagdad is religiously significant). Can we afford that? Your thoughts will be appreciated.

I believe the original concept of FR "LOOSE LIPS" was proscribing PERSONAL observations or knowledge not being posted...
It's fairly pointless to run around worrying about repeating or discussing what one sees on a news channel or reposting a newspaper article, though I forsee a ton of it in the next few days as busybodies try to feel important or useful.
If the Iraqis are interested, they're WATCHING MSNBC, not futilely reading through FR frantically looking for people to report what they just saw on MSNBC.
And, of course, as I've noted, interestingly, the ORIGINAL "Loose Lips Sink Ships" campaign from WWII was basically a propaganda move to cover US Navy incompetence in meeting German U-Boat attacks on the East Coast in 1942, and as it turned out, at NO point did intel from US ports play the slightest role in the German success.

I'm not worried about FR. It's the blathering of FOX, et al. in the first place that worries me.

Do I spot one without a regulation Saddam moustache in the second row, or is he just in need of a little Grecian 2000?

Unless Iraq attacks us first,it will be as the President said.48 hours then we will strike when it is right for us.He said they had 48 hours to accept the ultimatum.
This morning it was rejected.
"Time of our choosing" should kick in now.
To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks
There should be a 48 hour blackout on news coverage regarding troop movements around Iraq.
If we can intercept Iraq communications, what is to stop Iraq, or their allies (France, Germany) from intercepting and tracing the news reports? This would give them precise information about where our troops are and what they are doing.
Good luck and G-d speed to ur forces.

If the troops catch on that these embedded reporters are putting the lives of the unit at risk, the "journalists" might have some "unfortunate accidents" in the next few days.

I pray that the reporting will either be put on hold or that it comes garbled to the enemy's ears.
